...80% of our softwood lumber comes from Canada. Lumber and its byproducts are absolutely going to become more expensive and toilet paper pricing is going to reflect that downstream. Is it going to bankrupt anyone on here? No. Does it mean you have to stockpile it? No. But your claim that TP pricing is insulated because it's domestically produced is inaccurate.
$0.022/sq ft for single ply?? I think not....we are not barbarians!

Seriously though this is the same price that Costco sells for 2 ply. Not a good deal.

FYI your inaccurate understanding of economics and trade has been disproven

Wheres tofuvic for the analysis?
mentioned here: https://tetrion.com/tpcalc.php?r=
Target price gets an A with 25%+5%, beats all but costco in store. And Sams get a B+, but no deliver charge with plus. I have no idea if their costco pricing is kept up to date, says $19.99 which seems old. The deliver price is a buck too low.

Not even sure that calculator is right, I'd use # rolls * sheets per roll = total sheets. divide that into total price and you get price per sheet much lower that that webpage. And I'd actually use the totals sq ft, there's likely no standard TP square size.

It may be splitting (butt)hairs in total price, as delivery is much less of a pain in the *ass* than dealing with the costco *crap* hassle. see what I did there?

By my calc, it's not that great, the target house brand is better and 2 ply. Terrible deal without the target discounts versus sams etc

Cottenelle (pre 30% off at target only):
$26.99/1076.4sf
= 0.02507432181345224823

Sams delivered:
$22.98/1254.3sf
= 0.01832097584309973691

$14.79/722sf Up&Up
= 0.02048476454293628809

discount is possible 25%+5%, all totaled it saves about 4 bucks on the whole pack of sams finest, but you have to order $80 worth of butt wipe and store it

Here's the total:
Subtotal (6 items) (5x18pack, 1x6pack filler comes right in at $80 and change)
$80.94

Discounts
Save $20, when you spend $80 on Homecare items
-$20.00
Target Circle Card 5%
-$3.05

=$57.89 pre tax

That's so good it should be its own thread...

They don't sell these types of paper plates.
