This looks to be a Costco exclusive similar to the Vitamix A2500. It comes with a 10-year warranty, but recent reviews have stated that the motor seems underpowered compared to previous models and is prone to wear-out; could be a bad batch or could be a product built for Costco's specific price point. Either way, Costco has an excellent return policy so if I get a bad one, I'll just return it.
Been waiting for my Blendtec that I got about 10 years ago from Costco to breakā¦I've had my 2 Jars & 1 base motor replaced under Blendtec's manufacturer warranty throughout the years.
I've heard good things about Vitamix blenders and will be its replacement when it's time.
I've heard the Vitamix jars tend to blend continents a bit quicker despite the design of the 5 sided Blendtec jar. Longterm maybe less overall load & stress on the motor.

Ty for posting this expired deal. Seems to be coming in and out of stock on Amazon with delayed shipping. Got an order in and hoping it ships. I like the adjustable timer option that's on the 1200.
