I bought one of the Indonesian made Jackson pro models a few years ago for $600 on sale. The build quality was mediocre and the pickups sounded terrible. Getting a guitar with a Floyd Rose style tremolo is a bad idea if you're learning guitar. It'll be impossible for you to get it set up correctly. The necks on these are weird too, thin and tapered. I honestly wouldn't recommend these. If you're looking for something in the $400 price range with humbuckers, I'd go with an Epiphone Les Paul.

Floyd's aren't hard at all. More difficult than a basic trem or fixed. And can be easily blocked.

I will concede that most Jackson, evh, Charvel this year seem to have some fret sprout more often than not. I got a SLA3Q for a stunning $499 and filed the fret edges. That is way more specced out than this, of course. And still had those.

$399 is a great deal and less than half new.

Buyer beware. I have purchased seven gutters from Adorama and never had an issue until I purchased the Charvel Pro mod on here a few weeks ago. The guitar arrived with a stripped neck bolt, a loose neck, the paint was crackled under the clear coat, and there were several sprouting frets. I called adorama and they asked me to send pictures. I've done this three times now and just keep getting the run-around. I will NEVER do business with Adorama again.
