This seems like a lot to spend on a refurbished laptop with no discrete graphics, a low end screen, and RAM you can't ever upgrade. 32GB of RAM isn't bad, but requirement only grow with time. The 2TB of storage and 16 CPU cores are nice though.

Anyone knows if the fan on this running loud on battery? I like to watch videos before falling to sleep at night, so I usually unplug and bring a laptop from my work desk to bed.

You should get a fanless laptop for your use case.

Is it the Ultra 9 you have? Reviews I've read state this about the Ultra 9, but not the Ultra 7.

Seems pricey for a Meteor Lake refurb. But it is the fastest Meteor Lake chip Intel made.
