Is it still worth it? I see an macbook air 15" M3 with 16G/256G is still available at my local store for $899. But also notice that the 13" M4 base model is only $50 more at $949. Which one should I go to? Any spec comparison and real daily uses experience advice? Thanks!

I plan on switching to the bigger MacBook Air 15", which has more screen real estate. If I need to use something on the couch or a cramped space, I have my iPad Pro 11.

I mean, it's 50 bucks. On something like this that you'll be able to keep for quite some time, for that small amount you'd be better off getting the latest CPU possible.

Thanks for the comment. You're right, for only $50 more advanced chip would bring longer time last on my hand. But on the other side, it has to decrease the screen size from 15" to 13", and also 2 less speakers. I'm not sure if that worth it or not.

Have MBA screens changed between M2, M3, M4 models? I had an M2 MBA and thought the screen sucked - would I like M4 or it's the same thing?

8GB is okay for a middle or high skoo kiddo who is surfing the web for roblox or minecraft vids on youchoob. it's not for real work and won't be able to handle the almighty Apple Intelligence

15" M3 vs 13" M4

I had the same choice and went with the 15". Once you get used to the bigger screen, it's hard to go back, especially for media consumption.
