Pretty good price for a wood/charcoal grill, although, the reviews are not great as far as raising and lowering the grates, and I assume if you swing the grate out to the side it creates a drippy mess. Plus, the round grates just look weird to me, too.
My 2¢, I wish Charbroil/Oklahoma Joe's would stop messing around with this quirky design and just make a reasonably priced Santa Maria style grill. It's a tried and true design. I'm not aware of any Santa Maria style grills outside of CA for less than $1000, I'd have bought one by now if there was. For me, nothing beats food cooked over a hardwood fire.

You can get a santa maria setup for a weber kettle (or other kettle) for about $200. I don't have but have heard good things from people who do.

True, and I've looked at those. $200 is a little pricey for an add-on to the Weber, but it looks solid and may be a good alternative according to the reviews. I almost bought one for my Weber, but I held off. The Titan one looks the best IMO. https://www.amazon.com/Titan-Kett...C99&sr=8-2
Also, I would like something with a brasero to cook down the wood into coals and add as needed, so at some point I'm just going to buy a full size Santa Maria setup.

Buy a base Weber kettle and a Santa Mari attachment. $139 for base kettle 22", another $200 for a Santa Maria. Now can grill, smoke, dehydrate and open fire cook with friends. Plus, it won't rust and rot like this thing.
