I think a good sign of quality merino is whether they list the microns or not.. Here they don't, which isn't a good sign.











It's just one more measurement that we can base our decisions in buying O.o.

lol you don't want to wear THICK ass pubes from merino right? That'd be itchy af.
Well, knowing the microns will help if you to determine something isn't the size of pubes and be all itchy on you lol.

I don't agree with your statement. I wear a lot of wool clothes from different brands. I wear wool clothes everyday. Eileen Fisher is higher end women's wool clothing company with good quality wool. They don't list gsm.

Thinking of using this instead of a shirt with a fleece or pullover when I am in the office (68F there usually.)

I put My Merino woll stuff in a wool wash bag I got three of them for like less than $10 at Amazon and then I just washed them with my regular clothes in cold. You don't want the zippers to catch on the wool it'll rip it apart.
There is a special lanolin wash which helps with the odor resistance but you can also use once in awhile normally regular non-perfumed detergent for allergies. Then once in a blue moon use the lanolin soap.

Machine wash cold, use wool wash product, do not twist or wring, remove promptly; do not bleach; tumble dry low.<care instructions from REI

I don't know of any major brand that lists the microns. I own a lot of Merino wool/merino wool blends from different brands. REI has good quality products.
