I've bought memory three times from Newegg in the last ~15 years, including in 2023. Never had a problem. I think the typical Newegg horror stories are about more expensive and volatile items like GPUs and bundles.

There's nowhere better than Newegg for hardware, whatever their perceived flaws might be. I've bought dozens of products and recommended thousands and never gotten an impression that they're any worse than anywhere else, generally better.

Now their refurb hard drives...that can be a different story I've heard. But I'm thinking back in like 2012.
