Both my phones Samsung A35 and Moto Edge purchase on Feb 6 and Feb 7 have NOT unlocked. Called customer service and they say 60 days of paid service needed. Seems like they are applying this policy to all phones whose 60 days happen after April 1.
Worth a shot: if its been 61 days since activation try inserting a sim for a different carrier, rebooting, and waiting 10 minutes while connected to wifi before typing #TFUNLOCK# on dialpad. Was able to get two phones to unlock this way activated around the same date. Keeping original sim in device they would not unlock when using #TFUNLOCK# which usually happens on day 59 or 60.

Have you tried turning it off and on and connecting to Wi-Fi?

Wow.

Porting in a number is a hassle -- if you don't already have a phone number.

The whole ID verification is just...how do the kids say it nowadays...."totes wack".

No idea how they're storing your image and credentials -- or who has access to them -- or what the process is for them to expunge that data -- or who is ensuring they're following best practices.

Oh who am I kidding, your DL and image are being sold to the highest bidder. We all know that.
No kids be saying "totes wack" now or ever before...

phone from total could be used in Tracfine after rebranding. $10 per month with autopay, or 19.99 for 90 days. not sure about porting, I think activating a new line should work. Might need a new sim.
Thanks, but could you please explain "rebranding"?

Same here. 2 A35s activated Feb 6 and Feb 14, the 1st one did NOT unlock (and now I don't expect the 2nd on to unlock on Apr14/15). Unlocking Dept rep (888 442-5102) said the same - requires 60 days of active service. Says that requirement has always been there. Said that I could add one more month of service and I'd have to call the CS dept to add plan.
I filed a complaint with FCC.

I think it's risky to "add one more moth of service", since it's not a continuous 60-day paid service... but I could be wrong though.

I might be in the same boat as you. My phone(Edge 2024) was activated on February 7 (which makes today, April 8, the 60-day mark). It still says "Locked" on the phone. BUT when I enter my phone's serial number(IMEI) on www.tfwunlockpolicy.com, it says:

"Validation for Phone with Service Line
Our systems indicate that your device has a service line attached. For security reasons, we also need to verify your phone number."

After entering the phone number, I see:

"Device Unlocking Eligibility Result
Eligible For: Unlocking

Based on our Unlocking Policy, your device meets the criteria for unlocking. Please read the information below carefully before proceeding with the Unlocking Request."

The page asks me to enter my name, email, and an alternate phone number. But when I click the "Submit" button, it just loops me back to the page where I entered the serial number—without any indication that my request was submitted successfully...

I was curious what you see on their webpage when you enter your serial number.

Interestingly, if I use my phone number on the initial page instead of the serial number, it says:
"We apologize. Your device is not eligible for our Unlocking Program."
I am getting the same exact message too.

Thanks I may order a second line then. Did you have to do the picture ID verification a second time for the second line? Seems like I should be able to flip these phones for profit I can also include mobile service with the phones and sell them while they're still locked

If you get the 2nd phone(for free) from TW, can you switch to another cheaper service provider, such as TF, which offers $10 per month, and get it unlock after two months paid service, So eventually you get another phone for $30+$10x2=$50.
