Does anyone know if additional mesh points can be added to extend coverage? Uncle GBT says previous models had such capability.

Yes but probably the same type. Arris support is not good, so use as is, don't expect more.

What's the point of only having 1 2.5gb port?

If I already have an Arris G34 combo, can I disable the router portion of it and hook these up as dedicated routers?

Really poorly reviewed system by Dong at least, the short recap mid tier speeds, buggy firmware, even buggier central control app which is the only way to control the units, and no wired back haul option which is the first time I seen that on a MESH system in a long time....

All that being said that was reviewing the unit at the $500 price point, now at $70 with tempered expectations this would be a good upgrade for a lot of people.

Tom's review says there's no web-based interface, only a vertically oriented mobile app.

Made a mistake of buying it. Impossible to setup, Web UI disabled and I am hardware IT pro. Going back to woot.
