One of my stores got an update (S'ville, for the locals)
I live in a small town with one T, and it has horrible coupon policies (like only allowed to use one q per transaction, treat you like a criminal if you use q's) A year or so ago when they had the Durex q's, I actually overheard the LOD say to the cashier, "What does she need THOSE for, she's pregnant!" I don't even go to my local T anymore.
Every month or so I do convince dh to drive an hour and a half away to Atlanta, where the stores are wonderful with q's. We try to hit 2 or 3 T's when we go, but the kids get crabby if we try to do too much driving around. I've actually had my 4 year old groan as we pull in, "Not Another Target, Mom, PLEASE!" But I'm a sahm, and I need to use q's to be able to stay at home with him, so I don't feel too badly about dragging them around once a month, and he doesn't complain when I use my vig to buy toys!
Has anyone heard of the update happening in Atlanta stores? Or any in Georgia? I was going to buy some q's on Fleabay tonight, and was hoping to talk dh into a T day next weekend. If no one has, I'll let you guys know when I go.
Ariel, that really sucks that your stores have the updates, but it is the perfect excuse for you and the fam to move in with me.

The sobe instance is one that makes you want to bang your head. Guest should've given the mq's first, then the tq's and would've likely avoided the whole situation. Certainly doesn't help to be a booger and argue like that.
Interesting how lots of folks are being told they can't use q's on gc deals. I wonder if that's just the way the mgrs are dealing with beeping q's or if it's a new thing they will implement. If so... guess I'll be a heavy hitter at Wags again.
I know the update is coming as it's already happening at one store (at least) in the Dallas area. I can only hope it doesn't all happen tonight. Saturday is such a good shopping day.
Publix shoppers, last year I remember there being a $2 Method baby coupon in some magazine type thing that the lovely jeffshere shared with me. Does this coupon exist again this year? I have recently discovered just how much I love the Method stuff, so if this coupon exists and anyone has any to spare, I would love to trade for some!
bright side to a dark day: My house will be clean again
i was involved w/ the testing of an in-house developed *time and attendance* program. would take 8hrs to write the wkly schedule that used to take 4hrs doing it by hand. computers are supposed to increase productivity not decrease it.
so you can tell it wasn't *professionally* done.
One of my stores today had a bunch of clorox hangtags.. I saw about 15... I sent my 9 year old DD to go get them while I was loading the car.. she comes back with a huge pocketfull! I counted.. she had 36 of them! I sent her JUST to the bleach... she said but I saw some on the other stuff. And she says she left a bunch.. she got tired of taking them off
