I was going to check my store today, but it looks like I'm home bound again. Dumb legs keep swelling up!!! If no one else has tried and I get out tomorrow, I'll let ya'll know. Today, I am organizing my q's and getting about 27 "shops" ready. I've got a lot of work to do at Kroger/Wags/T!
Quick Question, hope you don't mind. You mention your legs are swelling. My legs swelled like crazy when I was pregnant and also had what they call "pitting edema" which is where if you press on the leg the dent you just made doesn't immediately disappear but instead takes a couple minutes to go away.

Turned out swelling legs along with the pitting edema is a classic sign of pre-eclampsia. The doc had me on orders for bed rest for nearly 6 months! Not that I was able to follow the orders well. I still needed a paycheck if we were going to pay our bills each month. Ended up compromising by elevating my feet on boxes at work and riding those stupid carts in the stores.

So 2nd store also has new POS:

B1G1, B2G1, B3G1 all deducted highest to lowest

I did not have any beeps today and used all of the above.

$2 Pampers auto-ed to $1.97 (price of the wipes)
$4 Olay autoed to $3.79 (price of the ivory, even though I had the olay)

So it is blatantly obvious that this "update" is to stop overages, even though T is now making overage when the $ off cpn autos down and T fails to actually write that on the cpn. Scratchhead

I haven't had a chance to check using cpns on GC deals. Are there any worthwhile GC deals this week? I dread venturing over to deals.

After loading up the car, I thought about all the changes and then drove over to KM and had a nice healthy STFC run Roll

Yeah... I've got the "pitting edema" too - where you press on your leg and you can see your finger print still. Last time I had the swelling, I also had skyrocketed BP, etc... so they put me on bedrest and did a gazillion tests for pre-eclampsia. My bp went way back down, no protein in the urine, and my first set of blood work came back iffy but the 2nd set was great. I'm hoping it's just because I was outside and on me feet a lot on Saturday, then on them for a bit more than I probably should've been yesterday. I'm really trying to behave today, but it's just not easy. I do have an appointment Friday - not sure if I should bother calling now or just waiting.

The swelling is kind of fascinating. If my shoes are on, my ankles are huge and bulbous. When I take my shoes off, it looks so weird because where my socks/shoes start, my foot looks normal - but above it, my leg is all funky swollen. It's just a weird looking thing. Then it evens out if my shoes are off for a while. (my stupid itching is back again... grr)

Oh, and I whacked my broken toe last night again - so that hasn't helped me much today. *laugh* I just can't win with these darn feet.

I was thinking about the carts in the stores. I may do that if I go out shopping. That or find a bench and sit while DD goes with the list. *laugh*

Unfortunately, I've been taking it so easy this afternoon that I didn't realize it had been a while since DD went potty. Normally, she's pretty good about telling ya when she needs to go, but she's been glued to some Kipper vids on netflix for about 2 hours ( EEK! ) Anyway, she ended up wetting herself because she was so engrossed in the video!! Thank goodness DH's computer chair is leather. That's not a surprise I'd like him to come home to! *laugh*

Ha - funny how I'm sitting here thinking that I'm a bad mom for cartooning the toddler for 2 hours while trying to be a good mom and rest for the baby... We moms just can't give ourselves a break, eh??

Yeah, pitting edema is almost fun to play with. I remember sitting in line for one of the midnight releases of a Harry Potter book with my nephews. They kept asking me to show it to them. By midnight it was so bad I could easily make a dent over 2 inches deep. Gross but fascinating too, kind of like a car-wreck.

And those carts felt like more hassle than they were worth. Everyone giving me cross eyes like I was just to fat/lazy to walk. Grrr.. and after all the only thing that really helps is having your legs elevated so sitting in a cart or walking is not too much difference especially as those carts take longer.

Oh, maybe you ought to stop by Wags or better yet send your DH to pick up a pair of those free after RR lotion infused socks. They feel so yummy.

On the T front I will post later how the registers are working in KC and if they have received the dreaded update yet.

So I am attempting to get all my SC Johnson rebates sent out, and have discovered I am sorely lacking in UPC codes. Anyone know a place I can go that has them all? I thougth maybe the thread in the rebates forum would have some info, but they don't. I am mainly looking for Ziploc containers and Scrubbing Bubbles, but also the Glade fabric and air freshener spray. Thanks!!!

you bring up a good point. I wonder how manufactures feel about this update? If I use a coupon for $3 and it autos to $2 Target just made and extra dollar from the manufacture. Would that constitute fraud on T's part?

I vaguely remember that target (and other large retailers) submit for Q redemption electronically. I think they need to keep the physical coupons for a period of time just in case they are asked for them, but I think the actual amt they are submitting to the coupon clearinghouse is what is scanned.

shake head These docs kind of drive me nuts....I know they mean well buuut....

When I was preggo with dd (she's my one and only so I had no clue what anything was 'supposed' to feel like) I was 37 wks along when I started getting extremely dizzy every time I stood up, bent over, etc and was having mild headaches. Couldn't decide whether to go to the doc, had an appt. the next day but decided I better call anyway. Got in, they took my BP and got all freaked out because it was so high....had me lie down and took it again 15-20 min. later or so and it was still high. They practically rushed me over to the hospital, all the while I just want to call my husband or mother or SOMEONE to tell them what's going on and they are just rush, rush, rushing through everything so fast I can't even think. Did the urine test, came back positive for pre-e, bp was still high. They admitted me and then over the next 24 hrs. or so him-hawwed around trying to figure out what to do because after making me rest the subsequent tests/results kept fluctuating.

Meanwhile, I started having regular contractions that were regularly spaced which were progressively getting closer together and becoming a little more painful each time. Slowly mind you.....but they kept insisting they were braxton hicks because I was not progressing in labor otherwise. So, while they can't decide what to do with me and whether or not the baby was ready the headaches start getting worse and worse and I apparently have a seizure, at which point when you are pre-e they put you on this horrible, nausea-inducing IV medication....I do remember that quite well. So that made them finally decide to rush me in for a C-section. And as they're taking me down the hall on the bed I vomit all over because of the nasty med. Healthy baby girl was born after that and most symptoms resolved - which made them finally conclude that is WAS indeed pre-e bulb

Yeeeeeeeeah, makes me not want any more children.

Hope you feel better ankhug And that it's nothing but regular near-end-of-pregnancy stuff, but be careful!

Got lots of pricing on stuff for gs todaybounce Saving all of dd's baby clothes/stuff for last as I have no clue how to price that stuff and am dreading itlaugh out loud

You can look up the upc's on amazon. Scroll down to the bottom and it gives you the asin and upc codes.

I went to 4 wags today and not a single one had the blistex in stock. I only managed to get 2 socks and 2 blistop things. Last week, they didn't even stock the gillette bw! I can't believe how much competition there is for stock and that some stores don't limit even a little bit. Never have/had that problem at T. Most of the time, I was battling myself for stock! laugh out loud

I just saw something on tv that I've never seen before. A comercial about whooping cough in infants and how they usually catch it from a family member, so now they are offering the Adult Pertussis vaccination. So I wonder if this vaccination takes the place of the one the baby usually gets?

Have any of you got this vaccination?

Actually they have been pushing several adult vacs lately due to the increase in adult preventable diseases. They tell you to get the dtap (pertussis and tetanus) along with the MMR (measles and mumps) as an adult. Vaccines don't give lifelong immunity and they are finding this out the hard way.

No this does not replace the infant vaccine, children still need to be immunized. I got these a few years back with my regular physical. Hu, a lot of insurance co. will not cover adult vacs!
