yep, me too (at 4:15). While I was laying in bed, my brain started figuring out stuff for work, so I went ahead and got up, as I figured there's no shutting it off once it starts.

You Publix folks will laugh about this one...I decided since today's the last day of the sale for me, I'd have a Publix Ultimate Sub (whole for $4.99) made this morning, part for lunch, part for supper. Little did I realize that the deli guy is SO unprepared to make stuff at 7 in the morning... He walked to the bakery for bread (literally from one corner of the store to the far other corner of the store), had to get out the mayo, mustard, pickles, slice the tomatoes, get a head of lettuce from produce, wash the lettuce, slice the lettuce, slice the roast beef, slice the turkey, slice the ham, slice the swiss cheese. Needless to say, my 'quick run' into the store really wasn't. 45 minutes after I asked to have the sub made, it was ...I guess at least it's fresh!

Ugh... I hate when my brain kicks into gear. That's why I never turn on lights when getting up - light is an automatic wake-up for me. DH can do it (full light, yada yada) - and often leaves the hall light and bathroom light on (which drives me INSANE). I have perfected the "sleepy stumble to the bathroom and back" if the path is clear and all is dark, and can get back to sleep relatively well - UNLESS a light is on or dh wakes up enough to ask me a question or say something. Then it's all over. This stinks when you are pregnant and getting up 27 times to pee at night!

And TN - sorry, but laugh out loud at the 45 minute wait for a sandwich!! I bet even during a lunchtime rush it would've been faster!

Oh, and did I mention that I had the bright idea to redo my system and had taken ALLLLLLLLLLLL my loose and bindered coupons, put them in a box and alphabetized them. Took me 2 days. I was going to put them back in my binder, and started to put the box on the table so I could get up to run to the bathroom... Yeah. You know what happened next.

ALL. OVER. THE. FLOOR.

and, in case that wasn't a PITA enough, I bumped the table and sloshed water out of my glass

ON. THE. COUPONS.

I couldn't even cry. There's just nothing left in you at that point. Just numbness.

I am trying to get my SCJ rebates together and I have a couple questions cuz I'm confused.

1. I heard 2 different stories. We can only put 1 rebate per envelope or all 3. Which is correct?
2. If I buy 6 (or more) participating items on 1 receipt how do I turn it in? Do I copy the receipt and put in different envelopes?
3. Am I able to turn in copied receipts?
4. How far back can we go on receipts?

Thanks a bunch Smilie
I have had success putting three rebates in one envelope and gotten 3 checks back. I've only "used" 3 items per receipt. Didn't want to take any chances. And since I've got so many receipts with so many different items, I figured it wouldn't be that big a deal.

Yikes. That hurts, just thinking about it. Hopefully you were able to salvage the majority. hug

So after about 5 days of hanging out with family, it is now back to same ol', same ol'. Except temps are 100+ for the rest of the week... Which means no daytime shopping for me. Staying inside, with blinds shut, pumping the ac, and movie marathons for the kids. laugh out loud

Oh my gosh, that's horrifying!

A few months ago I was redoing my coupons, had worked on it a couple days, had them on the floor by the computer desk spread out in categories etc. While I wasn't looking, my mother's boy dog PEED all over my coupons, binder and accordian folders. Mad I wanted to kill that dog!

1. I turned in all 3 rebates in 1 envelope. Did this several times with no problem. Just fill out 3 forms though.

2. I turned in one massive target receipt and just circled the 9 products. (one receipt I had like 15 SCJ products, so I just picked 9) then I filled out 3 forms and listed upcs.. No problems getting the checks.

3. I have no idea.. never tried.

4. One of mine was from Christmas and worked. I think the rebate was out since last November atleast.

Stories like this are why I always try to organize my coupons on top of our dining room table. It's pub height so the dog can't get up there.

Unfortunately, no table here to use or I would have been using it.

Wanted to add my q sorting story to the mix.
Since there was only 1 insert this weekend I thought that it would be okay if I left my stack (6 inserts) on the dining room table with the scissors so that when I got a chance I could cut some out. Big mistake, my dd4 decided she wanted to help me and was trying to cut along the lines, the barcode lines! Oh well, who needs deo/bodywash anyway.

Currently Tootsie's Chops are in my oven and the sage smells sooo yummy. I ended up getting brown rice. Hopefully it tastes okay as I'm not a big rice eater to begin with. I also pan fried some turkey bacon and chopped it up into green beans with butter. Yum!

Here's something that's a fave in this house. Some actually use cheese chips (cheese dorito's) but I use regular. You can also adjust based on your family size.

Dorito Pie

1 lb hamburger meat
2 pkgs grated cheese
2 cans diced Green Chili
2 cans Cream of Mushroom
3 cans red enchilada sauce
2 bags Dorito's

Brown your hamburger in a skillet. You can chop onions and cook with the meat if you prefer.

In a seperate pan combine the red enchilada sauce, green chili's, and cream of mushroom soup. Stir until boiling and blended. Mix cooked hamburger meat with the sauce in the 2nd pan.

In a casserole dish (or cake pan) place a layer of chips on the bottom. Spoon the meat/sauce mixture evenly over the top. Sprinkle cheese all over it. Add another layer of chips (I crush this set) onto the top of the cheese. Spoon the rest of the meat/sauce mixture over the top. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top.

Bake in the oven 350 degree's until cheese is melted.

Eat & Enjoy!

My husband loves this stuff. He likes to put black olives and hot sauce on his plate with his. I sometimes ad sour cream to mine.
OMG Doritos should make their own cookbook, I love love love a Doritios and mayo sandwich! It is just that Dortitos with mayo on two slices of super soft fresh bread yummy YummO!

My 3 y/o DS#4 loves to cut paper, a few weeks ago when the snapple bogos were on bricks I had cut them all nice and neat and got my piles ready for my run....go downstairs to the printer to grab a few more things and he is slicing all my pretty little 14 bricks up - right thru the barcodes! Luckily I was able to save them by laying the serial code numbers from a cut one on top of a whole one and now I had them back. But whew I was mad.
