So Papa is coming for dinner, and afterwards, I am taking my son out for a mommy-son date. Guess where we're going????
patio stuff went 75% here. this is my first trip in a week so I don't know if it was today or what. found a great set, but my porch is on Target clearance overload and I just didn't feel like stuffing it into the car. Cute set though. Small wicker seats with an ottoman that slid underneath with matching table. Red cushions. Way comfy too. It was hard to resist!!!!
Toys seem stuck at 30%. I won't be able to check next Thursday since I'll be getting new wood floors and the following Th I'll be in Vegas, so I went ahead and bought the only Lego power miners for my ds who has begged for that thing for 2 years. It was still 69.98 but it will be a major Santa gift
I still have papa koupons if anyone is going through withdrawls.
Went to a ghetto target today that I've never been to. They not only had security dudes strategically placed around the store but they also had actual police officers at the entrance. They were all wearing helmets with little microphones in them talking to each other. They even had a Mall Cop-ish scooter that set "Assets Protection" and an LOD on a power trip. I stood my ground and walked out of there with my free stuff and cheap stuff.
Anyone in OK do Kmart?

Seriously, though - even if you had to drop a box off at each house in the neighborhood to avoid bringing it home - it might be worth it!
I had a great run today. I wanted to do 2, but I ended up spending time wandering through toys longer than I'd planned. It was so hot that I started to feel sick in the car and figured I should just head home. I think that the heat and forgetting to eat lunch did me in!!! Feel kind of dumb for that, but thankfully I'm home and fine now. I did 5 Kellogg's Special K and 5 Fiber Plus - 10 would've been just too much to handle.
Some toys were being marked down to 50% while I was there - gonna have to go back again! I was told to check back for some @ 75% next week & week after.
I forgot to check patio. Oh well... happy with my run, spent $4 more than my anticipated/planned total (bought the TS3 memory game and a clearance toy for DD that spiked the total). But it was good.
Oh - no coupon weirdness like Sharon reported. *shrug* Maybe it's an individual store programming issue.

Dude there is something UP at Target ... when I was there one of the chaps working said that a group of teens had been in several times harassing the employees & customers and stealing stuff .... and then one of them tried to stab one of the employees with an exacto knife or something but got away????? There was a cop parked outside & one inside walking around & I guess someone(s) were watching tapes or something! CRAZY!
