Do you like dry or wet, as coffeemate has both. I may have Qs for both (depends on what my SIL cut and didn't cut).

It's funny how one person affects others, as I've couponed all my life, but my SIL started 2 years ago at Thanksgiving. She's now got her DIL in it, who dragged in two of her sisters and now her mom. SIL was cutting my coffeemate Qs for her DIL's mom last Sunday.

laugh out loud you're gonna need another house just to house your purchases for the Granddaughter to be...

great run at T today. got so much stuff my cart was overflowing. Found a girls toddler bedding set marked down from 59.99 to 7.xx, a girls full size bedding set marked down from 69.99 to 17.xx, Circo rug marked down to 17.xx (can't remember the original price but was 60 or 70.00 I think), Circo girls bookcase from 79.00 (I think) to 17.xx. Not much else, some nice shower curtains but still marked at about 17.00. Virtually no patio items left except a few flower pots, saw none of the 75% thermos grills either.
I am back :yay: Did you get to Kohls..

Are you already collecting toddler and full size bedding for your DGD...Leaving for T and then dinner..Will reply to Pm's tonight...

I have q's for it but they will probably expire because I almost never use coffeemate. I don't like the taste of it and only use it in my coffee if I happen to be out of milk.

I use dry. Not a fan of the liquid. I would Love some q's if you have extra. laugh out loud about the extra house. I didn't buy the stuff, I just saw it on the clearance endcaps in linens. But in the back of my mind, I already had a room decorated for her at my house. It took much restraint to not buy them LMAO

No Kohls today, wore myself out at T. I have been having crazy headaches topped with vertigo, so a trip throug T was about all I could do today.

On the toddler stuff, see above LMAO
Didn't buy it, but I did just happen to pick up a pair of cute baby shoes, and a sleeper LMAO

need some advice please!

have a bumbleride double stroller and it has been attacked by mold spots - i can't use bleach b/c it is blue/green and will discolor, i read that white vinegar could help but i was thinking of putting it in the washer as i can remove the fabric from the chassis - any thoughts of how to proceed?

have not read thread in ages so i hope not a repeat but was at ST yesterday and they had a ton of patio furniture at 75% off - they had some really nice sets........

if anyone is in the market for a breville smart oven, pm me and i can give you the 411, just got an awesome deal on one at bed, bath and beyond....anyone have one? do you love it?

dpags - we can't post pdf's on sd?? Confused is this new?

ank - how are you feeling? when is your due date??

So... I think I figured out what I am having a reaction to the last few days. Coconut milk - or something in it. I bought a 1/2 gallon cuz it was .89 after mq and the kids don't mind it on their cereal. I just had some on my cereal and my throat is feeling tight. Earlier this week when this had happened (the throat tightness), I had had a glass with some oreos. Downing some benadryl. Sheesh. I can't eat strawberries when pregnant, and now I guess I can't drink coconut milk!
Sale went well! $570 in 5 hours, I will take it! Learned some things for next time, things pretty much went smoothly!

Sorry to hear about the coconut milk ank hug All of my allergies changed during pregnancy, some better some worse. Seasonal allergies completely went away but food allergies intensified. And then after the pregnancy seasonal allergies went back to normal and food allergies were still intense, as we found out soon after dd was born....not fair!

Me too, won't drink coffee w/o it except I like the liquid not the powderWink And for some reason the .50/1 q that's out right now does not motivate me to buy itLMAO There were some .75/1 printables on their website not too long ago. If it's too expensive I'll just skip my coffee...DH will drink his black if we don't have it so it's not a complete necessity!

I'm so jealous. laugh out loud I tried to have a yard sale this morning, and it was pouring buckets. We had already planned on using two tents/canopies, so figured we'd go ahead, 'cause usually bad-weather days are my best sales. Nope, not this time. Made a grand ol' 67.50. Frown I am so bummed. Hubby keeps saying its 67.50 more than we had before, but I'm still bummed. And then, when he went to take down the signs, he discovered that the one from the main road to turn on our street had been taken down! No idea how long it was down. He was so mad, and I was, too. Put me in a deeper funk. Then I tried to nap, and woke up feeling way worse than when I laid down.

Grrrr...

Hubby's getting dinner together, and then wants to have movie night with the kids, so I need to snap out of it.

I prefer the liquid as well. The powder has never appealed to me, for some reason. And I, too, cannot drink coffee without creamer. My sister has successfully weaned herself off it, and tells me its liquid margarine, etc., but I still can't drink coffee without it. shake head I think the only way I'd be able to is combining half and half with flavored syrup. And then that's just basically the same thing, isn't it? laugh out loud

OK, off to fix myself an iced coffee.

what did you learn?

We did another sale at the local 'yard sale' spot I made just under 400 which seems to be my average for this area. It rained in the early morning the overcast all morning so there were no earlybirds, which is when I make half my money -- well EBs and other sellers Teehee IDK if it is that I'm doing them to often or I just dont have a wide enough variety of things. I do have several repeat customers, that I see every time I'm out there, which is nice but would still like more money for the major effort I put out to do it.

I store my things in my FIL A/Ced apt storage so I have to get a sitter to watch the kids so I can remove the seats from the van, go over there and load the car the night b4, wake up super early to get a good spot, set up everything on my 5 to 7 tables with a pissed off baby taking up one arm (she can't be without me unless it is naptime) , have my DH drive the rest of my kids to his parents for sitting, sit in the heat for 6+ hours, load it all back up into van, bring to my FIL unload into his storage area, go home, put the seats back in my car ..... *sweating*

Guess I just being a whiny baby, like Flugs DH says it's $$$ I didn't have that morning.

Ohhhhh, let's see....

Learned:

that I need more tables/better organization of space next time. things were organized, just a bit smooshed.

if it's necessary to do any mid-sale markdowns it would probably be a good idea to have those semi-planned/written out beforehand (though that might be hard to predict, but it would save time)

just some general things about pricing for specific items

the whole pop/snacks thing with DD definitely was fun for her and kept her entertained for the most part, but I need to decide if it's worth the time/effort/mess. might be easier to just have a grandparent take her for the dayDontknow

have hubby take the day off next time; setup wasn't too bad because he'd helped me the day before/morning of but tearing down was Faint this afternoon. dh works on 'normal' weekends. his weekend is Thurs/Fri.

I think that's about it. More logistical things than anything - that's not my strong point! One thing that seemed to really work for me was to set a small card table up at the end of the driveway (ours is VERY short) so the passerby would see a sample of what I had and stop. This wouldn't maybe work too well if it was too far away, I didn't have to worry about stealing or anything. Also, I don't know that I would do my paid advertising next time. Most of the crowd seemed to come more from seeing the ad on Craigslist and word-of-mouth.

@the tables = I totally understand, I have 5 that I always use and depending on the size of my things I bring 2 addtional and when I go to the 'big' flea market they have an addtional table.

@the markdowns, = In the beginning of my doing YSs I would let peeps haggle me and haggle me and now I'm firm! They will say "you take one dollar.", not ask me but tell me in incorrect english no less and when I say 'No' ,they look at me like I have 3 heads. There is a trick to knowing what your area will pay for certain things ie: peeps here wont pay more than $1.00 for toothpaste but will pay $1.50 for the SB in the can and that is like $2 reg store price!?! and my bandaids are priced $1.50 and almost every other person grabs one.

Oh, funny story -- actually had a women peel MY price sticker off one of my items to try, I guess, to get it cheaper!?!

@DH = My DH's weekend is Mon / Tues, so I get that.

ANK. I perused the Kroger ad and IDK if I will even bother with it, My Kroger (across the street from my fav T) S.U.C.K.S about coupons, you can only use 2 like coupons -- not ipqs ANY insert Q or anything. And I once had 2 sr crm and 2 lowfat sr crm - same brand in the order and they wouldn't even let me use 2 .55c and 1 $1/2 insert/blinkie Qs. Then I got all mad at the AssMan because the lady across from me, who was all up in my biznits first- in a friendly manner) had just used THREE identical Qs on BC warm delights - and that was discrimination to not let me use 3 identicals when other customers could Stick Out Tongue

The Motrin overage and free cheese could call me though.and I have $2.00 Destin Qs and I really want to try that new deodarent stick destin, I Sick hate the smell of that stuff on my hands.

Congrats on the GS - I think $570 is GREAT!!! Hope you can have another one and get the rest of your window $$

M2T - YEAH that you have internet again!!!

Dazzled - I don't like that smell either!

Teri - LOL about the room already decorated for your GD Wink You are a great grandma!!!!

LOL about all of you and your coffee - I am just not a fan - I love good tea though HEE HEE!

I did the cereal deal - but something went wrong because I thought I was watching the cashier scan - while also watching the youngest to make sure they didn't jump out of the cart - and she missed 5 of the Fiber Cereal coupons ... I counted and added and sure enough they weren't deducted in addition to not showing up ... I decided it was too much trouble to pack everyone back in the car and drive all the way back tonight ah well. We still got a a bunch of cereal so that is good.

I saw one lone chair in Patio that was on sale for 75% off ... but those padded chairs can't sit out in all weathers right? The elements would destroy them right? Was comfy though LOL

Hugs to all of you!

went to Target, bought some cereal, used tou-pons, got the UD Weeping

young girl in the parking lot approached me & DH asking for gas money, that she was stranded and didn't have a way to get home. DH asked if she wanted to use his phone- she says "no". I give her a dollar ; he asks where her car is - she says she doesn't have a car. I make a comment about using money for drugs..she threw the dollar on the ground and said the F word to me. sheesh, what a day

found a rebate hangtag on clorox: buy any 2 stain fighter & color booster, get free 96 oz clorox liquid bleach (in a single transaction) up to 2.29
