Good specs but not exactly a Slickdeal only $20 off the normal price and it's lowest price was $399 around Christmas.

You have a valid point but if these tariffs kick in $399 is a long way away.

Does it tell us why it was returned so frequently? Maybe expectations on performance? I can't see throwing 500 at this thing. I rather grab a refurb nitro with a discrete video card and connect a monitor and keyboard to it

I would imagine because it is barebones and people don't know what that means. You would have to supply your own RAM and SSD. People probably buy this and expect to plug it in and go.

These are alright, type C to HDMI never worked. Upgraded to a 4k monitor, I could never get it to 60hz refresh rate @4K, and I tried everything. If you don't mind Mac and spending a bit more, get the M4 Mini.

It's kind of funny reading 1 star reviews. Even the GMKTec Strix Point HX 370 64gb box had a 1 star review about how the USB4 port didn't play nice with a Dell USB dock… oh and that it was noisy… I've been using that as a low power server to run all my network services and game servers locally. AMD did a pretty good job with "E-Cores" with Zen5c.
