with refurbished, how's the condition? is it a returned and cleaned ? or returned and replace all replaceable parts with new parts? Thanks.
In both cases that I've bought refurbished robovacs from eBay (one Q Revo and one iRobot) they've looked just like new. Allstate/Squaretrade is also a really good company for warranty issues and from my understanding much better to deal with than some of the manufacturers. However I haven't had any issues so far.
The obstacle avoidance on the standard Q Revo is borderline non-existent when it comes to small objects. If you are able to keep small objects off your floor and wires tucked away, it performs very well given the price. If you have small children and can't keep up with their constant messes around the house, it's probably best to spend a bit more for something with better obstacle avoidance or go with the Dreame L10S Ultra, which is on sale at Amazon for slightly less than this deal.

I bought a Q Revo refurb during the Black Friday deal and had a totally different experience. Mine came with a missing dust bin, cracked rear docking sensor, and the unit had not been factory reset and still had the previous owner's house mapped out. I exchanged it for another refurb, and there were also issues, but more minor - the entire robot was dirty, and the sidebrush was completely frayed, basically on its last legs.
With that being said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy again if I needed another robot. Their customer service (at least through ebay) is really good. They sent me the missing dust bin/filter, replaced the original refurb, and sent a new sidebrush all pretty quickly after I reported the issues.
Our cats love bread ties and chewing cardboard boxes into little shreds and leaving them everywhere. Would any of these handle those or at the very least avoid them and not get the vacuum clogged every 5 minutes? Also looking for easy/good mopping capabilities

There's probably no price match, wonder if a return is worth it?
Thanks.
