New "Redesign" app errors out

I did the update on IP , and every link i clicked on I got an error message an error occured, we are unable to complete your request...

New app is terrible

If you didn't already report this as an issue or feedback via the app itself, then please do so. The devs will likely see the feedback faster that way. It feeds directly to them. Give them whatever info you can to help troubleshoot.

i did send the feedback/review directly from the app store too

Good and I see one of the admins from the dev team said they already got your report and are looking into it, so that's good. Hopefully they'll have a fix for you soon.

Had the same issues. Had to close (not background) the app. On iOS, swipe up to multitask, then swipe up on the app to close. Reopened, logged in, no more errors.

Edit: scratch that, errors are intermittently back

Thank you for letting us know. Please report that issue via the app's feedback link, so that the devs know that more than one person had that issue. The app feedback link goes right to the devs, so they may see it faster that way.

How about you revert back to the old design or let users choose what they want? No one wants this new redesigned version. Too clunky and boat load of pics and scrolling.

i just installed the update, so far it is much more stable.
gotta test it out more later tonight

Hi - appreciate the feedback! We can't revert back to the old app version for a variety of reasons, but we definitely hear you. If there are specific things you liked about the old design that we should bring back - please let us know! Here is what I am hearing: Comment experience (this is our top priority, I think this what you mean by too much scrolling?), comment deeplinking from pushes, New badges not working properly, feed density and layout, private messaging, advanced deal alert options - those are my top ones right now. Thanks again for the feedback and we will be rolling out new changes weekly.

Please make the hot deals forum exactly like it was before at least the forum threads and comments. The threads in the forum was so easy to scroll and see the thread titles. Now all I see if bloatload of large pictures and have to scroll so much and it's confusing. Just bring back the forum threads in listable fashion. Like what you see on the web version. The forum threads and no pics or very small pics but in list.

Great, thanks for the feedback again. When you say "bloatload of large pictures" are you using the app in "Grid View"? You can toggle to the "List View" with the toggle in the upper-right under the header.
