you can buy the inverter separately, so this doesn't have to be used only as an extra battery. ecoflow sometimes sells just the inverter refurb for as low as 1599.

so, you could get theoretically get the inverter refurb, plus this new battery for $3198, which is cheaper than the lowest i've seen on the refurb inverter + battery bundle at $3394 on ecoflow store on e.b.a.y, and with this you at least get a brand new battery.

even less than $3198 for the combo, if you have a home depot coupon you can use in conjunction with this sale.

by the way, that this ecoflow battery which is 6.144 kwh, is $1599 at a reputable seller like home depot, just goes to show why the only 4.096 kwh extra battery for the delta pro 3 is not that great a price at $1699 in march, or even $1599 a couple of days ago. this battery is 50% greater capacity than the delta pro 3, for the same price. the delta pro 3 battery really should be under $1500.

Smoking hot deal. Do i really need a third battery? Itching to pull the trigger on this. Thanks OP.
If I was in this eco system I would without a doubt, never a problem having TOO MUCH extra energy. Gives you options, especially when its cheap.

Been waiting to score a second battery! Was hoping for something during easter sales but this is too good to pass up. Battery cable comes with this correct?

EG4 14kwh battery is 3700
This is 6kwh for 1600.

The EG4 is a better value and with more features.
Thanks for the information. Batteries are so cheap compared to two years ago.

i don't know how well you did in math in school, but they are essentially the same price, around 26 cents per watt hour.

the eg4 lacks one key feature, for those who already have an ecoflow delta pro ultra inverter. (the only people who would be interested in this deal).

that is....a way to charge it back up! your eg4 battery does not come with a charger built-in, now does it? and, how exactly do you intend to run the inverter off the external eg4 battery? by feeding it into the pv input of the ecoflow, simulating solar? then you have to sacrifice at least one solar input. and the ecoflow will not calculate your solar intake correctly, because it is receiving simulated solar from the battery.

this ecoflow battery is fully integrated with the matching inverter, and can be charged via ac or solar via the unit. how am i gonna do that with your "better value" eg4 battery? furthermore, since it connects to the dpu not via the solar input, you can charge and discharge the battery without sacrificing any solar input, and you can track your solar intake data properly.

also, this battery sits neatly below the inverter, which stacks on top of it. if you can't figure out why some folks would want this battery, which matches and integrates with their delta pro ultra inverter seamlessly, then i can't help you.

cool

$1600 new battery + $1800 refurbished inverter = $3400

vs

$3400 both refurbished (ebay).

I wonder if this is eligible for the 30% tax credit

hardly a "smoking deal" at $1799, when the refurb inverter was a couple hundred bucks less (plus the extra tax savings of 8-10%), at only $1599 not too long ago.

It's already in their stock, doesn't matter if it sells or not before the next tariff

just so folks know, the same refurb inverter was $1599 from ecoflow recently. so, $1799 is nothing special or out of the ordinary for the inverter refurb. since this battery sold by home depot is new, and not refurbished, and is over 3 kwh, it should qualify for the 30% credit, unless the irs revokes it.
