It helped me know that the deal worked for others and may also be helpful for others wondering if it's worth having both services or not
My grocery deliveries were always wrong. I was always receiving only part of my order or someone elses order entirely. Is this a problem for others?
PSA: WM grocery purchases don't code as groceries for debit/credit card offers.

How did this work for you? Mine renews in May but I didn't get that option for the $49. Did you fully cancel? Because once I click to cancel and does the are you sure part you'll be missing out, I don't get the option.
I may have fully cancelled, but now I don't remember. Also, it doesn't really cancel your account immediately, so there's really no risk in cancelling.

I cancelled about the time this post began, and just renewed as the offer appeared. Wife missed Paramount+ a bit, and it's worth this price to me for the shipping savings over a year.

edit: oh, thought this was about December? New post?

it must be user specific because when I tried incognito "30 day trial membership" option is coming up. When I am logged in, it is giving me the %50 off

FWIW IMO For $49 it may be worth it if you're on the fence but it's not worth full price, not enough perks. Like others have noted, grocery deliveries are nice but almost always messed up. Shipping is always better than store deliveries in terms of order accuracy and delivery time, sometimes Walmart will change shipping to store delivery. I had one situation this winter where my poor delivery guy was a subcontractor and I was his last stop. He texted me with updates on ETA due to weather and his other deliveries. I told him to not bother due to safety concerns and to show his supervisor my texts, he said it wasn't an option for him. He ended up making the delivery around 11pm during a snow storm, crazy.

My subscription was expiring next month, went to cancel and there's small text for asking not to cancel with a 49$ renewal offer. Clicked it and accepted it. Now there's a confirmation on my membership page that my W+ subscription will renew with the $49 offer.

If you accidentally skipped the offer, you can try turning back on auto renewal and cancelling again to see if it shows up. The offer was easy to miss the first time.

I've never had W+ so I wasn't eligible for this offer, but luckily signing up for a free trial and cancelling it gave me "expired member" status and gave me the offer immediately after cancelling!

I've had this a couple of years and initially 10% or more of my items were out of stock but they've really gotten their act together lately. Note I pay the extra around $40 for the tip free delivery and this is honestly one of the greatest things in the world. I save so much time with this.

I got mine from the December deal and so far I've been using it -- I know it has been only 4 months but if I buy this deal today, will it extend or stack my current subscription? Wanted to secure another year at this price if possible.

I've used Walmart+ since it came out. I get home grocery delivery 1-3 times a month and I have not had ANY problems at all with the deliveries. Walmart deliveries for me have been basically 100% accurate and problem free. A few other folks above have had problems with deliveries so that must be YMMV based on local stores / labor / gig driver quality. I'm in Portland OR metro. The neighborhood Walmart is just 5 min down the street from me and I do not do substitutions typcially. I would tip flat $10 for a grocery delivery.
The Inhome upgrade for Walmart+ for $40 /yr is particularly good value. Inhome grocery requires no tip. That saves me tons of money not having to tip. Though the inhome delivery is a big 4 hr time window, so not as practical to schedule. InHome isn't available everywhere. InHome uses a Walmart employee delivery driver. They have option to bring the groceries in your kitchen and if you want they will even put them in your fridge.
Besides groceries the standard free shipping with no minimum for regular items at Walmart is also very useful. I usually get very fast shipment from Walmart on a lot of items. Often same day or next day. They generally beat Amazon for shipment speed in my experience.
I think what matters more here is the grocery prices. Key reason I use Walmart is their regular grocery prices are the cheapest vs the other grocery chains here. If that wasn't the case then I'd likely be better off using Safeway or Fred Meyer home delivery options. And if your local Walmart can't manage reliable home grocery deliveries then its not worth it either, which seems quite YMMV.
