I'm not aware of any mounts that move up and down, besides mantel mounts, only tilt.

According to one of the pictures, it can be retracted to 3.2" from the wall. Specifications also indicate extension range is from 3.2-15.4"

Not the greatest since others are more flush to wall about 2" but for $20 you can't beat.

Says up to 82" tv... but if an 85" tv is under 110 lbs could it still work on this?

The rear bracket here isn't very flexible - if your studs aren't in exactly the right spot (or aren't 16") for where you want to mount the TV, you're probably mounting it off-center. But for the price that's not really surprising.

Haha I was just thinking the same thing. I did buy it to take a chance but no flexibility for the rear studs like other ones that I've seen. The other ones have multiple hole locations where you can screw the bracket to the wall.

Why wouldn't? It's mostly the weight and vesa mount should work still.

Those of you that ordered this, did you check the box on the received item?

Printed on the box is PILF8 and states a max load of 100lb. Which is for TV Wall Mount for Most 37–75 Inch TVs up to 100 lbs.

But the distributer Giada has a sticker label stating item as WMTPS-PILF14-US-X and advertises as TV Wall Mount for 37-82", up to 110lbs. Can't to seem to find any info on the PILF14 model though or if one exists.
