Why does it have a camera an a radar? Usually only have either? And I kind of hated camera tracking, would that be compromised for hacking?

The mopping robot tech is rapidly evolving, manufacturers are still figuring out how to do them well across lots of use cases.

I have this vacuum and it's pretty good. Vacuums well on my tile and I haven't had to do a manual mop of my floors running it a couple of times a week. I have 2 smaller dogs and a 12 year old.

Couple things that are annoying are that it takes a very long time to complete as it seems to burn through the battery on max settings. I primarily use it on my ~1000 sq ft downstairs level and it will take all night to complete 2 runs in a cross hatch pattern.

The other annoying thing is the plate on the bottom is not removable and gets disgusting. It's really difficult to clean it as you have to scrub and spray inside the dock which is large and heavy.

I have no carpet so can't comment on its effectiveness on that surface.

Purchased for $330 in 7/2024 and felt it was worth it. May pick up another at this price so I don't have to lug it upstairs.

I've never used wellbots.com before. Is it legit? The $900 base price tag seems like a wild markup.

Are the batteries replaceable? If so, are they proprietary or can I pick something up from tenergy ?

1st it's an older model i believe, they have a "better"model with moving/pivoting mops also on sale but $100 more. 2. I think they're trying to sell as much as possible due to potential sales blackout from tariffs. Better to get the money now then hold stock in warehouse burning money. Dreame/Ecovacs/etc... these things are made in China so yeah.. even retailers frequently hold clearance to get rid of stock taking up space for example walmart's famous clearances.

Is this unit reliable? I read the reviews in Amazon and many recen reviewers saying that it stops working after 1 year. It works very well within the 1st year until it doesn't. And the service after that is pretty bad.
