The quietest fan I had ever used is the Rowenta "turbo silence" pedestal fan. It has a "whisper" mode that's "I forgot it was on" quiet. With the size of its blades it can move a lot of air without spinning very quick. It isn't cheap, but I got it on sale for $80 thanks to slick deals. It's been my favorite fan for my small office.

With the Rowenta fan as my benchmark, I got two of these fans the last time they were on sale to replaced the rickety fans my wife was using when she worked out.

They don't make a lot of sound on their lower settings. I loved that it oscillated up and down as well as left to right.

The buttons are touch sensitive and there is "hidden" functionality built into them. So reading the instructions is important to learn about the short press and long press features.

Overall these have been really good. They got nearly daily use in and I no longer have hear the wife's old rattling fans from anywhere in the house. They give a really focused wind which my wife liked.

Woozoo does make a larger pedestal fan like my Rowenta, but the blades are smaller. I'd like to try that one but the price is ~$145. So I'll have to wait for a sale. https://a.co/d/4ilLAe3

To me, the Rowenta is the bar to beat when it comes to quiet fans.
Luckily it's Costco so you can just return it …
I use this to dry myself after shower

bought this fan from Costco last summer, it works well but the mech. That moves it down / up / left / right no longer works. If used it shuts down the fan.

I'll stick with the Vornado fans I get from there. Those last a long time and have no issues.

We used these in place of ceiling fans...these circulate well but without that constant wind a ceiling fan hits with, making a ceiling fan obsolete. Sorta fun to watch, but enjoy the circulation most.

If you have the space for it, can be placed around the bathroom sink area… turn it on after a shower, circulating the air, and have the breeze angled into your face/hair as you continue getting ready. Helps cool the body down after a hot shower and helps with drying damp hair.

All fans these days, including Vornado fans, are trash.

Dont expect more than a few years of heavy use.

Even Vornado fans changed the majority of their motors, eliminated the warranty on a wide selection of their models. They dont even publish the CFM and noise level of the fans anymore on their website.

Only good thing is they still warrantee fans for now and will send you a new fan within 2 business days - this fact alone makes buying any other fan downright stupid

Vornado is the most powerful, lasts the longest, and when it breaks you do nothing and get a new fan shipped in the mail - doesnt get much better than that and this program wont be around for much longer so enjoy it while it lasts

Just bought this, its okay, quite at levels 1-4 but might as well not be blowing anything, lvl 5 is good/okay but audible, I wouldnt say loud but not quiet.

Problem is its just not that strong of a fan, the novelty of moving around doesnt do much if it just barely moving around air, even at 5 it feels like theres lots of room to improve.

That said, the fan is just okay, but priced low so cant really complain.
