On the other hand, the Dell gives you a higher wattage PSU (1000W vs. 850W) and includes a Platinum-rated PSU versus Gold.
Another plus for this system is the 2-year warranty, which offers longer coverage compared to Dell's standard 1-year.
Overall, you're getting more performance and value with this build. Unless you have 10% coupon for dell and CB. Then dell can be had for around 2k flat.

This is the same price that Costco sold 4080 rigs last gen and 3080 rigs the gen before, lol. In fact, it is 100 less than the first 4080 rig they sold.
Or
$12/day renting out for GPU use. Break even would be 6.7 months then profit $360/month after that.
Mining on the CPU+GPU is usually at a loss or barely making anything so what are you mining to get that profitability after electricity?

Some liberties were taken in guessing what is in the box, but I picked middle of the line for those choices.
Sure, you could probably find deals on each part over time and get this cheaper, but not right away.
This puts the GPU cost a bit more than $1000, which is a steal right now.
5080 for 1600- 2000$
