On the other hand, the Dell gives you a higher wattage PSU (1000W vs. 850W) and includes a Platinum-rated PSU versus Gold.
Another plus for this system is the 2-year warranty, which offers longer coverage compared to Dell's standard 1-year.
Overall, you're getting more performance and value with this build. Unless you have 10% coupon for dell and CB. Then dell can be had for around 2k flat.

Got mine. Set it up. Works great, pretty quiet and great airflow. Not too many cons yet. The mouse that it came with is extremely cheap and doesn't track my table well, but the keyboard is nice and clicky.
In case it matters to anyone: the MSI motherboard does proper S3 sleep down to 0W at my smart plug. None of that Dell/Alienware Modern Standby nonsense.
Motherboard, mouse, keyboard, case, heatsink, some final assembly of GPU. Actual GPU chip made by TSMC not in China. Also I don't think China fabs AMD CPU.
Also if the whole pc is assembled in China may also draw Tariff.
In the end if you buy from Costco, your hedging against tariff and worse case you erase the hard drive and bring it back to Costco within 90 days. That's part of the benefit of being a Costco member.

I love Costco man
Warranty of 2 year plus 100 for another 3 more.
How much is warranty at Microcenter?
Panic buying of large item purchases is always a bad idea.
Costco 90 day return… if you get canned in the next 90 days you're covered. And if you are not financially secure and buying 2500 pc is going to impact you if you do get canned then you probably shouldn't be buying this in the first place.
Also buying at a reasonably priced low supply, high demand item is not panic buying.

Found answer, motherboard only supports old pcie 4.0. Bummer.
