ios app update temp issues

It is possible that this is unrelated, however, as soon as I updated the Slickdeals app and started using it as usual (I don't like the redesign at all btw) I've noticed the back of my iPhone 16 pro max getting very warm. 100f using a thermal sensor to be exact. I've never experienced this before and it is only happening when I use the slick deals app. I let the phone cool off and came back, did some light YouTube watching for a bit while checking with a thermal sensor to see if I noticed any heat issues and all appeared fine. Within say 20 minutes or so of being on the Slickdeals app though, boom, getting very warm again.
Again, could be nothing but seems like this might be a thing, at least for me.
For reference my phone is in dark mode, no other apps open in the background. I noticed it while scrolling through a large post with lots of comments that I was going through for a prolonged time (maybe 15-20min)
Battery health is normal and says it's 100% with 101 cycles. Not plugged in or charging in anyway while I'm using it.
Fwiw, thanks Smilie

If you didn't already send this in as feedback via the app's feedback link/button itself, then please do so. The devs will likely see the feedback faster that way. It feeds directly to them.

How about you either revert back to the old design which was 100x better or allow users to revert back. I wish I could remove latest version and never update this app again.

I'll keep an eye out for the update and if I have any further temp issues I'll speak up. Ty for the responses.
