Are the bottles semi-transparent to check the level? One reviewer said they aren't.

Unfortunately, Costco doesn't make 5 W 40
Nothing with 40. Rip European and performance cars. Makes sense most cars don't use this thick of an oil

These comments are proof the world needs Dr. Rick- "helping new homeowners from becoming their parents."

For all- if this oil isn't the exact spec for your car, buy the closest weight to what you need, dump it into a saucepan, and cook it over low heat on your stove for about 1/2 hour. After it cools again put it back in the jug. It'll be good to go after that.

Yes, they are on the middle transparent line.

Look in your book. Probably not the right oil.
If you only plan on using it on your honda (if it would work (which it wont)) this 4pack will out live you.

In for one (4). Purchased as a non-member and paid a 5% surcharge ($3.50). Still a great deal. Costco just to far from me to buy a membership. I am a BJ's Wholesale Club member.

New homeowner here. I have the toro timemaster and a Ryobi power washer with a Honda engine. Is this good for those? If yes, which one? (I live in NY, if the temperature matters)

My local Costco only sells two packs at $29. The online deal is better

I have seen a lot of my customers with issues on newer Toyotas.
They have had a lot of growing pains in the last 5 or so years. My worry is not just now but 10+years/100k+ from now.

Even Honda has had issues. So no manufacture is immune but some think old Toyota is the same as new.
Toyota is still quality but they have more issues now especially after going forced induction like everyone else. The tundra is an example of bad QA.

They still do a good job of manufacturing cars but they are also beginning to slide into the "rely on your brand" territory.

4runners, for example, are not worth their asking price. Tacomas aren't either. Both weak cars that are easily outclassed by peers.

How much do you guys have stocked up ? First time buyer of this oil, long time oil changer
I have a suburban that takes 8qt and a Tacoma that takes 6qt. I buy 5 cases one weekend and another 5 cases the next weekend. Lasts me 2 years until the next time these go back on sale. This is a solid deal, usually they only discount it to $30/2pk box

It's a good thing people are checking because the last deal I got was the 2 pack and it was actually cheaper in club by like $2 than online.... the 4 pack isn't even sold in my club.
