Quick look around shows this is $70 everywhere else. Cuisinart isn't top quality, but decent. Thumbs up

I have this set of knives in black, marked as Farberware. My local ShopRite sold them last year at around $12 (Yes, for the set) They're surprisingly good knives, though the steak knives sux, serrated blades. If you look around the $239 Cephalon knife set looks remarkably similar to this $39.95 set, and my Farberware.
You can find the Farberware on Kohl's as "edge keeper", currently $89.95

Have this set. The plastic handles fall apart with dishwasher use. Blades don't have particularly good edge retention, but sharpen easy. Wooden block is good.

You should hand wash knives. The dishwasher will dull them... and I guess in this case make the plastic handle fall apart.

Williams Sonoma [williams-sonoma.com] and Amazon [amazon.com] (directly Sold & Shipped via Amazon) both have it priced at $69.95. The reason it got downvote bombed was it showing up as Front Page with only 7 upvotes and no comments.

To the average person, that is suspect at bestโ€ฆunderstand that this site needs to make money to exist, but the optics aren't good. Credibility is at risk.

That said, it is a good deal. Probably FP worthy.

Years ago, seemed like it took a 15 upvote score to hit FP. Should honestly get back to that.
