It is not vacuum insulated nor metal so while the double walls will provide some insulation, they are mostly to prevent external condensation. So load it up with ice. But expect it to melt much quicker than a Yeti or Stanley.

I bought this exact bottle at Walmart when I was in a jam and needed a quick water bottle. As a whole, I REALLY like it. I think the handle and the locking ring are going to be a problem long term; compared to the rest they are really cheaply made and I think they are going to fail. But despite that, really strong bottle for $5.

it's got a pretty wide bottom. My care has like a HUGE bottle hole it fits in, but I don't think it would fit in a standard cup holder.
