Not a bad deal on these. I like to use the individual pokeball sets as party favors for young kids' birthday parties, and some of the larger sets are a good deal too.

Lego will be getting the Pokemon IP to play with next year, so these Mega sets will likely all be discontinued. Lego will probably charge way more than Mega for their sets, but they will likely use fewer ad-hock pieces and more standard pieces for their builds.

I have that Pikachu + Zubat set and it's... Not good. It was difficult assemble and that had nothing to do with complexity of the build.

The pieces just didn't connect to each other in any sort of satisfying way like LEGO sets do.

While the Zubat looks decent put together, Pikachu looks awful.

I'm sure the LEGO sets will be more expensive than MEGA but it'll probably be worth it.

I've bought a few of these, and bought a few more with this deal. They are fun, they aren't LEGO but they are still worth it.

They are dumping them now that LEGOacquired the license. I'd wait for actual LEGO sets, these are junk. My son has a bunch of them. They fall apart so easily and don't go together too well.
