Mine used them to cut roots under the dirt , they were brand new too. I'll end up sharpening them tho, this brand has been good to me in general

Me too, and I already have these same shears. Might pick up a backup incase the metal and roots damage mine too much. The wife. LOL!

If they ever get damaged, all you need to do is make a claim on their website and send a picture. No proof of purchase needed. They will either send replacement part or whole new tool. Easy peasy. I always buy Fiskars because they are generally made well but if they ever get messed up, they cover it.
