Great time to upgrade your graphics card before the tariffs kick in.

Can't believe we are at the 5 series already.
I had a 7600 GT ~20 years ago. They seem to alternate between 4-digit and 3-digit.

Beware, this card constantly reboots in the middle of a game, randomly!

Just Google and look at the reviews even on Newegg

Is that your review on Newegg? That sounds like a very rare incident. Probably due to hardware issues.

Drivers maybe… Gamers Nexus did a YT video of the random issues caused by drivers post December 2024.

Ran this exact card with a 650w bronze PSU. Not a single issue even with the card running at 100% usage for hours straight. Sounds like a separate hardware issue causing it, outdated drivers or a possible defect

Also the card recommends using two seperate power cables for the adapter. If only using 1 that could maybe cause issues

Techically, they are the 50 series, not 5.

Personally, I consider them to be 43 versions. They certainly are not a full upgrade from the 40 series. But nVidia is riding the AI craze and putting all their eggs in that basket.

I am happy with my current 4090 for now.

It's not a bad price however 12gb may be limiting depending on what resolution you intent to run it

Not at all. 12gbs is plenty for 4k gaming today, and probably the next couple of years. But no one should be buying a mid tier card for future proof 4k gaming anyway.
