This doesn't look good for the lower back. It would need solid support instead of string

This is for squeezing the pelvis together, focusing the squeeze on the back side and less on stomach side. For SI joint issues where they are weak

The height at which model has this belt on the abdomen doesn't suggest it is a SI belt, SI belts are worn lower on the hips like in the example here https://www.amazon.com/FALCOFIT-S...9hdGY&th=1 a SI belt would be worn closer to where the bottom of his shirt hangs! This says it is for Instant abdominal (stomach) compression and lumbar support for repetitive bending and lifting.

This seems to me a light duty support just to help with your back getting tired for someone doing a lot of daily lifting vs an actual back brace for someone with a bad back or for back protection for someone lifting very heavy items.

I think the string is probably a plus. Where the Hercules WWE belt type feel good to put on, the heat buildup can be detrimental, and you have to take it off from time to time. for $5 I might try it. Decent alternative, and cheap insurance in case you forget the other one

for $5 I'm in. I too hurt my back or pulled a muscle. I will give this a try when sleeping to support the lower part of the back
