It's the sound profile, bass is too subtle for certain ears. I'm a sennheiser guy but that forest green is gorgeous

They do look stunning but man 5 hundy is a huge pull to swallow for me personally. Cheers to those with the disposable income to jump on these. Jelly

amazon reviews look like there's some issues with seams popping and foam being exposed, both in the earcups and headband... i'm passing but these do look nice.

This is what kept me away from even trying. I'm afraid that if they sounded too good, it'll be hard to return them. However, I can't accept the way they're failing, especially at their price.

Costco has the Px7 S2 for $149. Are these worth $270 more? The Px7 felt nice, but the bass was lighter than what I preferred and the ANC was okay. Ended up with the Bose which was kind of the opposite impression.
I've got both, and I'd say if you don't need a second pair they're definitely not worth the $270 more. They're worth $150-200 more. They do sound better, sound stage is a bit better, if you like bass get the px7.

I have these. Most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. I wear them for hours at a time and sometimes forget they are on my head. The upper midrange is a little muffled, but the detail in the rest of the frequency range is absolutely amazing.

I actually don't like the green. Will wait until the black ones are on sale for $421 on Amazon again, it was that price last week.

I have the PX7S2e. The sound was terrible at first and I almost gave up trying to tune them, then I got the Wavelet app and it was night and day better. Deep bass, excellent instrumental separation and crisp highs without being shrill. I haven't picked up my Bang & Olufsen HX since. The noise cancelling is better than most but not as good as Sony, but the sound more than makes up for it. I'm not a fan of Bose because of the white noise during noise cancellation, which cheapens it. Also, during airplane landings and takeoffs, there is very little of the "buffeting" sound that disrupts noise cancellation. Before the accusation is made, I do not work for, nor am I affiliated with Wavelet. My listening sources are a FiiO JM21 and FiiO M15.

I have these, they are great and very posh. I purchased them brand new late last year, per Reddit recomendation - directly from Amazon Germany. With the $25 shipping, they were only $350. Delivery was literally 3 days by DHL. Would be worth checking amazon.de for anyone who wants to buy them

Wow. I'm actually fairly content with the$7 ones I got off Woot a couple weeks ago. Only really need them for the ANC and listening to podcasts while cooking and stuff.

Interesting thing. The other day Amazon had a big red banner saying Product often returned. This morning I looked and banner is gone. Kind of wonder about Amazon.

I had a pair of the original PX7s. They were less than a year old and the right side stopped working. I contacted B&W and they refused warranty because they said it was a discontinued model. I asked why are stores still selling then? They wouldn't budge. With the high cost of these headphones they don't seem to want to back up their products. I bought off of Woot.

I bought a pair of HiFiman Deva Pros with the Himalayan r2r dongle for $199. These headphones don't have anc though. Comfort wise and sound wise they sound better than my PX 7s2s. I wouldn't wear them out in public but then I wouldn't wear the B&Ws out in public either.

If you're gonna spend 300+ on wireless headphones looking for sound quality, get the bathys. They are usually in the 500 range for refurbs

not sure how to upgrade to pro but it works...compensates for the overly polite british eq.

They have these like new on there for $350. I just picked them up to try them out.

Currently evaluating Sonos Ace, but would like to compare this and the BeoPlay HX.

Can anyone speak to ANC of these vs the Sonys XM5?
