This has a boost button which will jump start a completely dead battery. I have one that doesn't have this and errors out when trying to jump a completely dead battery.

Picked one up. Thank you OP.

I also have the 2000a 18000mah version model AHET118 with an LCD from this company. I've used it to jump my 5L V8 SUV with a completely dead battery several times.

I have the 2000A variant of this that struggles to jump a 2.5L I4 engine. I ended up getting a recommended brand from project farm as a replacement.

Hmm. I have this one that's a few years old now:

I think maybe it was even well reviewed on Project Farm but when my battery was dead recently it wouldn't do anything despite having a boost button.

My really old one from 2015 that looks like this worked just fine:

Was a very frustrating experience at the time as the older one was one in my wife's car at work and I was stuck at home despite having the newer one in my car.

Perhaps just bad luck. I'm kind of tempted to buy this one even though I don't necessarily need it as it looks somewhat similar to mine from 2015 that worked well.

Didn't work on yellow, but orange did. I like the smaller one I have, it's great, but I couldn't get it to charge other devices. I don't know if that's typical, but honestly, I have a ton of other chargers at this point.

I jumped my V-10 cutaway Ford van on the smaller one in the summer, so I wanted to get the bigger one for winters.

I got one of these with identical specs and look but different name on it.

It worked okay for when the battery was too low to crank the starter and it wasn't super cold.

When it was cold out the battery wouldn't even make the starter click, this was not effective.

YMMV
