that 'pro' tag next to their name indicates a certain level of contribution - which, ahem, is absent ... for all the subsequent posters.

So how is "this seller has been posted X times in the last Y months helpful"? Zero context, zero impact.

a little context is that op couldn't find a deal if they fell into a barrel full of deals ... and this brand is almost always posted by staff

assume it's an ad - it got posted because this seller's turn came up - not because it was thought to be of special value to the community.

Yes, I figured that's exactly what the context was but it's not on other SDers to infer it.
Congrats to everyone who just learned that SlickDeals is an affiliate marketer that makes sponsored posts and money off of affiliate link clicks. You guys really unraveled a conspiracy with that one. If you're really a great 'contributor', then maybe start by explaining why a $12 Waterpik alternative isn't a good deal as opposed to just implying that it is a sponsored post. Is a deal bad simply because it is sponsored? If that's the case then this isn't the site for you.

Just a fair warning….I purchased 2 of these on the last deal. Both were non-usable within a week. I exchanged them for two more and the force sprayed because so weak in less than a week again that I returned them both. Not worth it, no matter how cheap the price!

I have ordered 2 of these, and it has been 4 months using them everyday without any issues. They are also very powerful and will hurt your gums if your not careful. I usually keep them on power 3 and that is plenty. Best 10 bucks I spent. Well worth it

I also purchased 1 before the last time and my experience was the total opposite. I charged it up when it came and have been using it since February 6 on that same charge and recently started to after anything I eat so 3-5 day.
I can say I like it better than my other standard with the coiled line attached to machine with the open holding tank on top. I'll see how long it'll last, but so far it is a decent rechargeable waterpik.

have to use distilled water to keep it from clogging up. more trouble/cost than it's worth.

I understand where you are coming from being an old timer here myself. But even tough this is a "promoted" deal I have to say that I own this and it is powerful and the battery will last a long time.
