In the past year alone I've used it to demo walls, cut irrigation pipes, cut out roots in the ground that were invading my irrigation controllers, and trim branches off of trees.

Worth noting the 3,000 SPM value is under a zero resistance.
If you are doing serious work with a reciprocating saw, a corded model is unquestionably the way to go. This is great for portability and quick jobs though don't get me wrong.
Doing light to moderate demo, 5ah should last all day. If you were running the tool non stop, you should be able to recharge a battery faster than you can discharge, so you could keep it running indefinitely by swapping batteries.
This morning was a symphony of sawz-allz in my neightborhood.
I have used it to remove flooring with some Spyder chipping blades, those broke. Not the tools fault, the tab/hole for the chippers broke. Blades I've never had a problem with. I also don't use it like a hammer or kid. So I know what I'm doing and don't bind the blade.
