It's not even brushless. Get a bauer from HF instead or spring for the hercules.

I've had this drill since probably 2018ish? Have only used it handful of times each year on random small projects until I moved and decided to finish my basement this spring. I've been using the crap out of this thing for two months straight and have zero complaints. Batteries are still going strong… I'm tempted to buy another just in case.

I can't really speak to using this as a contractor, but for the average homeowner, it's been very good for me.

In my experience, Bauer batteries are inferior. Went through three of them, and they lasted less than a dozen uses each. I've been pretty rough on the dewalt batts with weed whipping, sawing, and grinding, and have only retired one in 8 years.

Lost high speed in this drill after using it to grind rust off of a trailer for a few hours. With the batteries though, the price is actually not that bad if your plan is light use with the drill.
