Have this kit in each of my cars. Tools are not the best quality, but for $20 it's super affordable and will do an emergency job. These have come in handy on many occasions.

also buy a $1.25 box cutter from dollar tree and throw it in... you should always have a pocket knife on your person outside of prohibited places.. pick up one of those while you're there if you already don't have one.

As a new homeowner, this kit is inexpensive and gets the job done for a lot of basic tasks. Still using it after 4 years with no problem

I recently paid $19 for the 53 piece socket set and would have happily coughed up $10 extra for this set given both are pittsburgh tools. Wasn't on sale at the time. Wonder what the return time on those are...I haven't even opened it as I put right into the car.

*update* according to perplexity.ai it's 90 days and so I guess I'll be making a run to harbor freight. Thanks!

What I'm alluding to is: there used to be a simpler times, when car breaks, and one could actually take out the toolbox, clean carburetor, sandpaper a spark plug, and car runs. But these days repairing the car involves hooking it to specialized computer, and obtaining very specific parts, and quite often very specialized tools. I would be hard pressed to come up with scenario where the toolbox would save the day, and I'm not talking about this one in particular - ANY toolbox.

It is odd this has no utility knife, but there's no way to add anything to this kit. It's molded plastic with a slot for each tool...nothing else.

Thinking about sending this to my in-laws so I know there are tools around when I'm visiting over the holidays. You don't need allen wrenches all that often, but when you do, there's just no substitute.

I have this set in my RV. Have used it to make all kinds of repairs on the road. Great toolset for light work.
