I love account churning and glad that I found this deal again. I may do it again. I received an offer in the mail, but $450 for a deposit of $2k. Does not make sense when this deal is better.
What I have done is deposit $500 to the opened account through a high yield via automatic transfer from a brokerage. It has worked. The issue sometimes is that the bank will not recognize some transfers as direct deposits (like it would from payroll from an employer). It is kind of a YMMV at that point.
At least from everything, I have read on the offer page, once the bonus hits, I can withdraw all the money and then close the account without incurring any penalties or fees?

If completed correctly, yes. And then you have to track a year to pass by and then you can do it again. I have completed this twice already. The first attempt yielded me $250 and the next $350. I only do these deals if they end up making the bonus amount more. They have stayed at $350, it looks like.
