I have tried every flavor from deals on this site. I use lavazza for Cold Brew, Hot Coffee, and Espresso..

I will only use Lavazza Crema e Aroma, and Super Crema everything else so far has not been to our liking. 15 for 1 bag of super crema seems like a rip off. We may need to start looking into Costco coffee

Super Crema is Lavazza's best label imo; however, $15.89/bag for Super Crema is not slick.

Yes coffee beans are actually up over 50%, most roasters haven't moved up the full amount that the market has. You can look up the Arabica market on barchart.com. Great way to look up commodity prices... This past year its been Coffee, Orange Juice, and Chocolate are the real movers.

For those who have used this before, would this be ok for making regular coffee? I saw in the reviews that almost everyone is talking about making expressos. I am just interested in a normal cup of coffee each morning.

It depends what you care about. If you define serious as in really care about the nuances of espresso, then most would never consider anything without a definite roast date. You can either buy freshly roasted from local roasters or use a subscription service (even the cheapest would be Craft Coffee at $8/12oz so a lot more expensive). I used to buy Kirkland beans for my espresso but unfortunately I had a friend really into espresso show me the difference fresh specialty beans make so now I'm one of the suckers paying for a subscription.

I did not like this as regular coffee. Too much of a "burnt" taste for my liking.

I agree that the difference in taste is enormous, but there's also a price difference. I wondered if there are some people who care about their espresso taste but also would consider something like this or Costco beans.
