As title indicates, for select PayPal Accounts, members may be eligible for an additional 30% savings on Instacart Purchases.

Deal Instructions:
  • Login to your account
  • Go to the "Offer Page"
  • Next to "Popular Offers" click, "See More"
  • Browse offers and click "Save Offer" for Instacart
  • Make a purchase via PayPal as your payment method within 7 days

With this added savings you can shop at wholesale clubs like costco w/o a membership since it will offset some of that slight upcharge on listed items thru instacart.

I placed a $400 order through Costco by Instacart and got the same activation message for the 30% back. That's a good sign. Saved $33 in fees vs going through the Instacart website.

I'm now wondering if paying through Paypal with a Discover card will also activate the Discover 5% back this quarter for Costco/warehouses and grocery store purchases? The pending charge says PAYPAL *INSTACART COST. Another $20 back would be nice.

Unfortunately it did not charge as grocery for me.

Don't buy through Instacart, buy through Costco same day website. It still gets charged as Instacart but price is much lower. I bought an item that was $400 on costco's website and by linking a Chase card to get free Instacart plus for three months it raised price only 1% to $404 for using Instacart to deliver it.

How many times can this 30% offer be used? Used it at Costco, it says it activated, and that I will get the 10,000 pts cashback. Offer briefly disappeared from my saved offers after I used it, and now it's back again as an offer that's available to use.

You only need to activate the offer in Paypal by clicking on it in the offers section of your account. If the offer is active in your account then placing the order at Costco same day activates it if you pay using Paypal.
