The kobalt light is on sale for $100 at Lowe's. If you have the kobalt battery eco system, I would go that route.
Yes, if you already have the kobalt battery and charger. If not, I would grab the husky.
I have both of these lights. (Not seeing the $100 price on the Kobalt, but doesn't really matter.)
Both of them are fantastic.
The Kobalt is a monster. Tons of light and can be raised quite high.
The Husky, plenty of light for most tasks, and very versatile especially considering its detachable head with magnets and a hook. Not as tall at max height.
If you need a crapload of light in a large area and don't mind the extra bulk I would grab the Kobalt. If you want something that is easier to adapt to a lot of different situations, grab the Husky.
