I assume you would ask them don't want bag when claiming it and ask them to deduct the bag? Imagine just going and buying this toothpaste and that is all. Or what about people who buy 3 packs of 12 can sodas? There is no bag for that obviously right?

So you had to pay for the brown bag right? Or were you able to get a refund on it? How would one even do that? Say you bought like a face cream that doesn't need a bag and you can carry it or say a 3 pack of 12 cans of soda where a bag wouldn't fit.
What happens there? Or do most people just pay whatever the bag fee is? I would be since someone says you can get a refund for it, I'm curious how you would do this? I'm not sure how I would even do this last time as the few things I bought was already in a bag and when I told them my name, the cashier just went to the area to pick the bag and then give it to me.

Yea the bag had my name on it so it is to identify me when I go and pick it up. So I thought... how could you even ask them for a refund of the bag. People said they did not before so was curious how you even do that.
