I bought a N150 with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD AND 2 (TWO) Intel i226 NICs to run OPNsense, for only $149. It is still currently selling for $219 with a $70 coupon for $149.

You can skip Ubuntu part +signing your EFI bootloaders and drivers if out are using stock windows boot loader .
In general , if you are serious about security you wouldn't want to trust any OEM preloaded PK .

No it's not better. BT 4.2 no USB-C, 12GB and 16GB is not a huge deal for these minis since you aren't gaming. DDR4 ram and not DDR5 like OP. Also yea, don't get that, get the other one that was linked here in the comments the AOOSTAR
But yeah, these little N150's are great for pfsense/opnsense and sip power.
