I used to use Kaspersky as well! Bitdefender is way better for it's aggressiveness detecting things than Kaspersky. I switched a decade ago.

I have this on 4 of my computers and one on my laptop. It is doing its job so far. Bitdefender was able to stop some malicious from some of the websites that I visit a lot (like advertise tracker cookies). I like it so far. Keep in mind that I bought it less than $30 during holiday sales.

At least in the past, you'd use Malwarebytes in conjunction with antivirus software, so there wouldn't be a direct comparison. That may have changed, though.

I've had Bitdefender for the past two years and have been happy with it. It's not intrusive like Norton (god, I hated that). I know that Windows Defender is good enough for most use cases, but we've got kids, so I'm taking no chances.

Speaking of kids, this version of Bitdefender has parental controls and Web site filtering. I tried to use it but found it to be too aggressive, so I turned it off and used Windows parental controls. That was a couple of years ago, so they may have refined it since then. It wasn't a feature that I bought it for, so I wasn't upset.

I've used this and it's really good at blocking all the shady websites I go to. Seems to be fairly resource intensive though. The VPN it gives for free is a joke and you can't select where it connects you and has like a 300mB limit per day before it asks you to go Premium lol.

I got a new gaming laptop a month ago. It came with Bitdefender for 6 months. It's been a good experience. Definitely pulling the trigger on this deal.

Stick with MSFT defender and save your money. It's good enough for the majority of the enterprise brands you interact with daily.
