I wonder if this means I can list an item for sale on eBay and if I don't like the ending sale price I could just cancel it?

Why leave negative feedback? It was a mistake and we all knew it from the start. It was worth a shot, but I understand them canceling hundreds of orders that would have cost them money.

I have had things on eBay and wasn't happy with the price, I didn't have the option of just refusing the sale.
I'm just not ok when "mistakes" only benefit one party. You'd never be able to do what they did,
And feedback is for people to gauge the quality of a company, in this case, I'd never bother buying from them. You'd never know if you were waiting your time. Is it a clearance deal or will they cancel… ?

I disagree...The sellers been on EBAY for 20 years and has a 98 percent approval rating.
People always get so snippy and entitled when a price mistake is corrected. The SD post clearly said, "Price Mistake" in the title. We all knew it was a 50/50 shot at best.

When the amount you're paying is less than the shipping cost, it's an obvious mistake. They had many different auctions with crazy prices and it looks like they fixed it as fast as they could. It happens. Certainly not worth tarring and feathering them for it.

Again, their business and their problems… I don't work for them. As you said, been doing this for 20 years so maybe they should have it figured out by now?
I know I can't cancel a sale on eBay for an "oopsie" but in this case their sales figures will trump eBay policy and eBay will ignore it.

LOL. Do what your going to do but entitled shoppers who wait a week to post a negative review on a simple mistake are the reason I avoided naming my daughter Karen. You tried to take advantage of an obvious mistake and are pouting now that you couldn't get it. Its silly. Be a man and move on.

If what they are doing is on the up and up why are they lying about it?
I got the cancel message from eBay (first message was directly from the seller) and it says;
"Unfortunately, the seller had to cancel your order due to the following reason: Something was wrong with the buyer's shipping address."
So if this is no big deal why are they lying to eBay and blaming my address? By lying they admit this is shady and violates eBay policy
That's a good company that doesn't deserve negative feedback?

It's slickdeals, of course we try to take advantage of mistakes here! What are you her for, to save 15% on some AA batteries? Best part of flooding ppl like this with orders are the cancellation emails yet items sometimes show up LOL! Not that it happened to me or anything 😝
