I've been using the SN30 pro as a second Switch controller for over a year now and it works great. I haven't noticed any issues, and it feels especially good for playing retro games. It could be a bit small for some people, as it's pretty much the size of the OG SNES controller but a little thicker. This hasn't bothered me, and I have big hands, but the trigger buttons are a little crowded as two of them are squeezed into the space where one was on each side on the SNES controller. The way the buttons are shaped makes this less of an issue than it sounds.
The quality is great on mine and I would definitely recommend it, but just know that the size could be a positive or negative depending on what you're using it for.

This $30 model does not have hall effect thumb sticks. The SN30 Pro 2 does which is linked here and $10 more. I have both and work great. I can hardly notice the difference.. However i did own an 8bitdo N30 pro which was a fun little controller, and that did end up with pretty bad drift. It's no longer sold which sucks

The sticks are smaller than your standard XBox/PS5/Switch pro controllers. I.e., I wouldn't recommend using this as your primary controller. It's great as a retro controller where you might need analog sticks once in a while.
