While I'm all for zinc, 50mg is too large of a dose. The upper limit is between 30-40mg per day for most adults, the daily recommended intake is around 11mg. If you do take this, make sure you're getting copper as well as this much zinc will make you deficient in it quickly.

zinc is an essential cofactor for vitamin D's function, and vitamin D can also influence zinc absorption.

When I was a child, we used to suck on pennies, and it was a delight. 2500mg of 97.5% pure zinc.

Split them in half?

Just remember taking just zinc can interfere with copper absorption, potentially leading to copper deficiency which is just as essential for your body.

You could and that's fine, but your regular person getting this bottle will probably just assume that they can take the full amount daily.

This. Eat a few oysters the day prior. She'll thank you for it.

Was going to say that, best to split these in half if you're planning on taking long term.
