Yes, "WELCOME" only works for new accounts, for _any_ order more than $49. It's a standing offer and not related to this order.

And you don't have to be a new Costco customer to get the deal. They have them every third month it seems. I stock up!

They only deliver to certain zip-codes, unfortunately mine is not covered and I cannot go into the store, but it is a great deal for in-store purchases.

This is a pretty devious hack, so use if your moral compass permits:

If y'all didn't know, you can add "+1" , "+2", "+whatever" to the end of your current gmail address and you can create a new chewy account while simply routing back to your primary email address.

example: [email protected] becomes [email protected]

just verified, and it works.

Is this better than the Costco version because that creates a LOT of dust. I thought I could deal with it but even with an air purifier close by, the dust seems to be getting everywhere.

Picked up the special kitty from Walmart recently based on some good reviews but haven't opened it yet.

A few years ago this stuff was great, but they changed something and it doesn't clump anywhere near as good as it used to, turns into mud that's hard to get with a scoop. I bought from Costco, maybe they get a worse version, I don't know.

I buy Target litter (35lb for $13.99) with my Redcard with 5% discount and I usually place a large order when they have a Target Circle deal (usually 15% off on top of the 5%). Right now I had a Circle deal for $20 off of $80 worth of litter so I ordered 6x $13.99 -5% -$20 so I paid like $66 for 210lb which makes it $0.31 per pound. That's not the best but pretty cheap and better than this Chewy deal. I also like the Target litter way better because less clumpy. Only concern is that it comes in plastic bags vs. paper boxes.

Try Target brand litter - we run a cat rescue like it a lot. See my other comment for how to get good deals on it. If that doesn't suit you then there is a Tidy Cats litter version that almost produces no dust. I think it's the one with charcoal. It's almost like little balls or beads.

EDIT: forgot to mention, it ships free to your doorstep if you are a Target Redcard member
